Laurel Wilson contributes expertise in graphic design, environmental graphics, planning, set design, and interior architecture to the work of OPA.
Prior to her work with OPA, Ms Wilson joined a coterie of individual design firms in New York and Seattle; she established her own studio in New York in 1990. For a number of years Ms. Wilson taught architectural design and drawing at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. Ms. Wilson studied art history at Whitman College, was graduated by the University of Washington with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, and received her Masters of Architecture from Yale University.
Concurrent with her work with OPA, Laurel runs Arcstudio, a graphic design atelier on Bainbridge Island.
Ms. Wilson is licensed by the State of New York to practice architecture.
